About the Role As an Associate Clinical Nurse Manager, you will undertake a leadership role within the Perioperative Services at Whangarei Hospital and provide clinical expertise and direction to the nursing team to support best practice and patient focused care within a multi-disciplinary setting. Key Responsibility Areas Contribute to and foster the use of evidenced based practice Provide professional leadership and supervision of the nursing team About the Service Whangarei Hospital has 9 operating theatres with the following specialities: Orthopaedics General Surgery ENT ophthalmology Gynaecology Urology Acute/Trauma Dental About you New Zealand Registered Nurse with a current practicing certificate (APC) Relevant Post Graduate Diploma Designated Senior Nurse PDRP or Expert PDRP (demonstrating clinical examples) Minimum of 3 years experience in relevant specialty area Working at Health New Zealand Health New Zealand | Te Whatu Ora is dedicated to ensuring excellent healthcare for the people of New Zealand.
