Job Description
Key responsibilities include: Troubleshoot and problem solve plant issues, executing reactive maintenance tasks Supervision of Mercury mechanical maintenance staff and contractors Use Risk Assessments to plan long term maintenance Identify, share and implement continuous improvement initiatives Champion a world class attitude to health and safety Tāu ka kawe mai | What you'll bring: Plant operations / Process control or maintenance experience in a manufacturing or heavy process industry Asset management practices Maintenance and/or operation of hydro power stations (advantageous) Knowledge in the energy industry particularly related to asset management and operations (advantageous) Skills in the use of CMMS (Computerised Maintenance Management Systems), contractor management and technical troubleshooting Enthusiasm and passion for a job well done Experience with steam turbines and/or major hazard facilities (MHF) would be an advantage.
