Frame & Truss Fabricator

ABOUT THE ROLE Our client, a leading manufacturer of timber frame and truss products, is looking for a motivated and reliable Fabricator to join their Rolleston team. This role involves assembling frames and trusses to precise measurements, working with a close-knit crew in a busy production environment. KEY RESPONSIBILITIES Assemble timber frames and trusses according to plans and specifications Operate saws, nail guns, and other workshop tools Measure, cut, and check timber for quality and accuracy Work to daily production targets and deadlines Maintain a safe and tidy workspace WHAT WE’RE LOOKING FOR Previous experience in frame and truss manufacturing, Hammer hand or carpentry work. (preferred, but not essential) Ability to read and follow technical plans or diagrams Good hand-eye coordination and practical skills Physically fit and comfortable with repetitive manual work Reliable, punctual, and a team player WHAT’S IN IT FOR YOU Competitive pay – $26 to $28 per hour, based on experience Monday to Friday – no weekend work Work with an established, supportive team Opportunity to develop skills in the building industry for more information.
