As our warehousing and fulfilment business continues to grow, we're looking for an experienced leader to take ownership of our Auckland fulfilment operation. About the Role This is much more than a warehouse management position. As our Auckland Fulfilment Manager, you will lead the entire Auckland fulfilment business, overseeing warehouse operations, customer relationships, commercial performance, warehouse systems, compliance and continuous improvement. Reporting to the Auckland Regional Manager, you'll lead and direct our fulfilment team while working closely with transport, linehaul and sales to give our customers a great experience. You'll be responsible for ensuring operational excellence today while helping shape the future growth of Big Chill's fulfilment business. What you'll be responsible for Leading Auckland's fulfilment operation to deliver outstanding customer outcomes. Driving operational performance across receiving, inventory, picking, dispatch and warehouse administration. Building strong relationships with key customers and becoming a trusted operational partner. Leading new customer implementations and supporting business growth opportunities. Optimising warehouse performance through WMS, reporting and continuous improvement initiatives. Delivering strong financial performance through effective labour planning, productivity and cost management. Creating a high-performing, engaged team through coaching and leadership. Ensuring the highest standards of Health & Safety, Food Safety and regulatory compliance. Working collaboratively with our transport, linehaul and commercial teams to deliver an exceptional end-to-end customer experience. What we're looking for We're looking for an experienced operational leader who combines commercial thinking with exceptional people leadership. You'll ideally bring: Senior leadership experience within warehousing, fulfilment, logistics or distribution. Strong commercial and financial acumen. Experience leading customer-focused operations. Excellent leadership and coaching capability. Strong understanding of Warehouse Management Systems (WMS). A passion for continuous improvement and operational excellence. Experience within food, FMCG, grocery or temperature-controlled logistics would be highly regarded. Why join Big Chill?
