Maintenance Engineer

The Opportunity We are recruiting on behalf of two established industrial manufacturing businesses seeking experienced Mechanical Engineers to join their maintenance teams. These are hands-on roles focused on maintaining critical production equipment, carrying out breakdown repairs, preventative maintenance, fault-finding, and continuous improvement activities within busy manufacturing environments. What You'll Need to Succeed Eligibility to work in New Zealand and ideally seeking a long-term career opportunity Minimum Level 4 National Certificate in Engineering (Mechanical, Fitting & Turning, Maintenance, Toolmaking, Welding or similar) Experience with preventative maintenance and breakdown repairs in an industrial or manufacturing environment Ability to work at heights where required Strong mechanical aptitude with a proactive approach to maintenance Willingness to participate in an on-call roster where applicable Reliable, safety-focused, and a positive team contributor Rigging, dogging, or forklift experience would be advantageous What's on Offer Competitive hourly rates from $40-$45 per hour, plus overtime opportunities Stable permanent employment with well-established manufacturing businesses Ongoing training and development opportunities Career progression pathways into senior maintenance or leadership roles Employee benefits, wellbeing initiatives, and staff discounts All required PPE and tools provided Applicants must have New Zealand Residency or a valid New Zealand work visa. #J-18808-Ljbffr
