Help Build Wellington’s Future Water Infrastructure Tradestaff is seeking an experienced Water Installers to join one of Wellington’s leading civil infrastructure teams. With significant investment continuing across New Zealand’s water infrastructure sector, this is an excellent opportunity to join long-term projects that make a real difference to local communities. We’re looking for someone who enjoys leading from the front, takes pride in quality workmanship, and has the technical knowledge to deliver water infrastructure safely and to a high standard. About the Role Working across major water infrastructure projects throughout the Wellington region, you’ll play a key role in delivering potable water, wastewater and stormwater networks while supporting and mentoring your crew. This position offers a great opportunity for an experienced Water Installer looking to step into, or continue growing within, a Leading Hand role. Your responsibilities will include: Installing potable water, wastewater and stormwater infrastructure Reading and interpreting construction drawings and specifications Ensuring installations meet council and New Zealand standards Carrying out quality assurance checks and supporting as-built documentation Coordinating plant, materials and daily work programmes Maintaining high standards of health, safety and environmental compliance Mentoring junior team members and promoting quality workmanship What We’re Looking For We’re looking for someone who enjoys taking ownership and leading by example. Ideally you’ll have: Water Installer qualification or recognised equivalent Proven experience delivering water infrastructure projects Strong understanding of New Zealand water infrastructure standards Ability to read plans and interpret specifications Full Class 1 Driver Licence WTR, Class 2 or additional endorsements (advantageous) Strong commitment to safety, quality and teamwork Why Join Us?
