Job Description
This company is a well-established mid-sized multidisciplinary consultancy working across geotechnical, water and environmental engineering, with a strong reputation in the Auckland market and beyond. They're now looking for a Principal Process Engineer to join their North Shore office, with a clear pathway to equity as part of an active succession plan. The role One of the firm's senior Principals will be retiring over the next few years, and they're planning ahead rather than waiting for the gap to appear. They want someone who can step in now, build into the technical and client leadership side of the business, and be genuinely considered for equity down the track. There's immediate work to lead into as well. They're currently tendering on a large wastewater project and will need a Design Manager to run it in the near term. The project portfolio is varied and includes private sector clients. They also do iwi-related environmental and infrastructure work, with a solid base of council projects across water, wastewater and water treatment. Beyond the work, this is a business that puts real effort into its culture. It's a place where people are backed to do good work and where individual identity is respected and celebrated, not just spoken about. What we're looking for A solid process design engineer who's also comfortable and capable in front of clients Background in water or wastewater treatment design - this could be a civil/three-waters engineer or a mechanical process engineer who's designed treatment plants Chartered (CPEng), or close to it Full eligibility to work permanently in New Zealand Someone weighing up their next move for the long term, not just the next job For the right person (someone who is ready to build a career over the long term), this is a genuinely rare opportunity to move into ownership in an Auckland consultancy with real standing in the industry. #J-18808-Ljbffr
