Procurement Manager

The Role This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced procurement professional to take ownership of enterprise-wide procurement and contract management activities within a complex and evolving environment. Reporting to a senior leader within Finance and Performance, you will be responsible for managing procurement processes, supporting commercial negotiations and ensuring contracts are effectively managed throughout their lifecycle. You will play a key role in ensuring procurement activities align with organisational objectives while delivering value for money, managing risk and maintaining compliance with relevant policies and regulations. A significant aspect of the role will involve building and maintaining strong supplier relationships, including supporting technology-related procurement and contracts. You will work closely with leaders across the organisation to provide expert advice and guidance on procurement, commercial and contract management matters. Key Responsibilities Include Leading procurement activities from planning through to contract execution Negotiating commercial terms and conditions with suppliers Managing contract performance and compliance obligations Identifying and mitigating procurement and supplier-related risks Supporting supplier relationship management and ongoing engagement Conducting market analysis and cost-benefit assessments Developing procurement strategies that support organisational goals Maintaining accurate procurement records and documentation Supporting audits, reviews and governance requirements To Be Successful In This Role, You Will Bring At least five years' experience in procurement, commercial management, contract management or a related discipline Demonstrated experience managing high-value service contracts Strong procurement experience within technology or digital environments Excellent supplier relationship management capabilities Solid understanding of procurement frameworks, processes and best practice Strong analytical, communication and relationship-building skills A relevant tertiary qualification in business, finance or a related field Membership of, or affiliation with, a recognised procurement professional body would be advantageous Knowledge of public sector procurement practices would be highly regarded #J-18808-Ljbffr
