Spirometry Testing (Independent Contractor) Contract Opportunity | Napier & Hastings | Flexible Working Arrangement Our client is seeking a qualified and experienced healthcare professional to provide spirometry testing services across the Napier and Hastings region on behalf of a well-established healthcare organisation. This contractor role offers flexibility and the opportunity to manage your own schedule while delivering an important community health service. About the Role As a Spirometry Testing Contractor, you will be provided with patient referrals by our client and will then coordinate appointments, perform spirometry testing, and provide completed results to our client. You will be responsible for managing your own testing schedule and ensuring patients receive a professional, empathetic and efficient service. Key Responsibilities Receive patient referrals via email Contact and coordinate patient appointments Conduct a minimum of 50 spirometry tests per month Perform spirometry testing in accordance with recognised clinical standards Email completed test results in a timely manner to our client Maintain accurate patient records and uphold strict confidentiality at all times About You To be selected for this role you will have: Registration as a Registered Nurse, Occupational Health Nurse, or another suitably qualified health or science professional A current practising certificate (where applicable) Recognised spirometry training, certification, or credentials to perform spirometry testing Excellent organisational and communication skills The ability to work independently and manage your own appointments A commitment to providing high-quality patient care Commitment to working as an independent contractor, including managing your own tax obligations, ACC, leave entitlements, and other contractor responsibilities The ability to arrange and fund suitable consulting/testing rooms in both Napier and Hastings Your own reliable transport Spirometry equipment can be provided on loan by our client; however, you would need to purchase consumable testing items at a nominal cost What's on Offer Flexible contractor arrangement Work independently while making a positive difference to community health Established referral pathway with ongoing referrals provided Spirometry equipment provided (on loan) Excellent payment per test completed #J-18808-Ljbffr
