Stainless Steel Fabricator

Our client is a well-established and respected engineering and fabrication business based in Central Auckland. Due to continued growth, they are looking for an experienced Stainless Steel Fabricator to join their team on a full-time, permanent basis. This is an excellent opportunity to join a busy workshop where you'll work on a wide variety of custom stainless steel projects across both residential and commercial sectors. No two days are the same, making this an ideal role for someone who enjoys varied and hands‑on fabrication work. About the Role Working Monday to Friday (40 hours per week), you'll be responsible for a range of fabrication tasks including: Stainless steel fabrication and TIG welding Reading and interpreting workshop drawings Manufacturing a variety of custom stainless steel products Operating fabrication machinery, including press brakes and guillotines General workshop duties and occasional on-site installation work Maintaining high standards of workmanship and health and safety About You To be successful in this role, you will have: At least 5 years' experience in stainless steel fabrication The ability to read and interpret technical drawings Excellent attention to detail and pride in your workmanship A strong commitment to workplace health and safety A full, clean New Zealand Driver Licence New Zealand Citizenship, Residency, or valid work rights A reliable work ethic and the ability to work independently What's on Offer Competitive hourly rate based on experience Diverse and interesting fabrication work Supportive and professional team environment Central Auckland location with easy motorway access If you're an experienced Stainless Steel Fabricator looking for your next opportunity, we'd like to hear from you. #J-18808-Ljbffr
