About the Role We are keen to build ICAMHS across Waikato as a place where Social Work shines and is valued for its expertise that is so essential in this space. Therefore, we are looking for a Social Worker who is passionate to help develop Social Work as a profession, support the onboarding of new people, ensure recruitment and retention processes that target Social Workers are in place and arrange regular meetings with Social Workers across Waikato. A key aspect of this role is helping develop learning and development plans for each Social Worker and advocate for Social Workers individually and as a team. About the Team / Service The Social work clinical lead role sits across the three Health New Zealand | Te Whatu Ora Waikato Child and Adolescent Mental Health clusters. About you Currently employed by Health New Zealand | Te Whatu Ora, Waikato. Passionate about advancing social work practice and developing the allied health workforce. An effective communicator who builds strong relationships and contributes positively as part of a leadership team. Reliable, organised and committed to achieving high-quality clinical and leadership outcomes. Willing to support professional practice through clinical supervision, case review, annual performance development, and service improvement initiatives. Committed to culturally responsive practice and upholding the principles of Te Tiriti o Waitangi.
