About the Role Make a meaningful difference in the lives of tamariki and their whānau through community based occupational therapy. Working within the Child Development Service, you will support children with disabilities and developmental needs, delivering assessment and intervention that promotes participation, independence, and wellbeing within home, school, and community environments. About the Team/Service/Location The Child Development Service in Whakatāne is a small, highly dedicated multidisciplinary team committed to supporting tamariki and whānau across the Eastern Bay of Plenty. You will work closely alongside Occupational Therapists and a wider range of allied health professionals within a collaborative and supportive environment that values shared learning and professional growth. Based in Whakatāne, this role offers the opportunity to combine rewarding community focused work with a truly relaxing lifestyle. You are an enthusiastic Occupational Therapist with a passion for working with tamariki and whānau within a community setting. You enjoy working collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team and are motivated to continue growing your paediatric clinical skills.
