Willow Park School – North Shore, North Island Grade 3: $29.52 - $31.41 gross per hour (plus first aid allowance) dependant on experience Willow Park School requires an Office Administrator to work 37.5 hours per week, term time only. This is a permanent term position, ideally commencing Monday 24 August. Hours will be between 8.00am - 4.00pm Monday to Friday. The position joins two other office administrators in the office team, and a wider administration team of five. The position is pivotal to the running of the school and is a varied, fast paced role. The successful candidate must: Responsibilities Relate professionally with school staff, students, whānau and associates of the school Have a calm and nurturing personality Be culturally responsive Be able to work unsupervised and have excellent problem solving skills Be well organised and be able to prioritise work Work under pressure to complete tasks in an accurate, time-efficient manner Be open to change, show initiative and be proactive in looking for ways to streamline efficiencies and improve controls Be tech savvy in Google Suite Maintain confidentiality and follow all school policies and procedures Have a great sense of humour. Duties Being part of the team to manage the front desk in the office and provide support to students, whānau, staff and management Manage and maintain the Student Management System (Hero) Enrolments of new students to the school Make all visitors to our kura feel welcome Applying first aid and attending the sickbay (a Workplace First Aid qualification is desirable; first aid training will be provided if required) Community notices and managing the school payment system for events and activities (Kindo). Bookings for the hall and school facilities Office stationery procurement. Previous work in schools will be an advantage to this role. There is free car parking available at school.
