Q Theatre is the home of contemporary performing arts in Tāmaki Makaurau, bringing exceptional theatre, comedy, dance, and live performance to audiences year-round. We're looking for a creative, organised and resourceful Marketing Manager to lead the day-to-day delivery of Q Theatre's marketing activity. This is a hands-on role for an experienced marketer who can think strategically but is also comfortable writing copy, managing digital channels, delivering campaigns, supporting hirers and using data to improve results. Working in a lean team and with modest budgets, you'll know how to prioritise effort, make smart decisions and deliver impact. What you'll do Provide practical marketing advice and support to hirers, artists and partners, helping them maximise audience reach while ensuring activity aligns with Q Theatre's brand and priorities. Plan and deliver integrated marketing campaigns to drive ticket sales and audience engagement. Manage Q Theatre's website, social media, email marketing and digital advertising. Create engaging marketing content and coordinate campaign assets across digital and print. Monitor campaign performance and use insights to improve results in ticket sales, audience growth, engagement, conversion, hire support, corporate bookings and hospitality spend. Work closely with programming, ticketing, and visitor experience teams, along with external partners. About you You'll have: Around 3- 5+ years' experience in marketing, digital marketing or campaign delivery, ideally in a fast-moving, audience-focused environment. Resourceful and commercially minded, with the ability to prioritise to deliver strong marketing outcomes within modest budgets. Proven experience delivering successful marketing campaigns from planning through to execution. Strong knowledge of social media, email marketing, digital advertising and website management. Excellent communication and copywriting skills. Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines. A collaborative approach and a passion for creating great audience experiences. The skillset and positive attitude to be comfortable working in a lean environment where priorities can shift, and able to make clear recommendations about where marketing effort will have the greatest impact.
