Technology Environment Ruby Ruby on Rails PostgreSQL JavaScript / modern frontend frameworks Cloud platforms (AWS and/or Azure) GitHub / Azure DevOps CI/CD practices Agile delivery environments Modern development tooling The Opportunity As a Junior–Intermediate Ruby on Rails Developer , you will contribute to the design, development, testing, and maintenance of high-quality software solutions. You will work closely with senior engineers and technical leaders, gaining exposure to modern engineering practices while taking ownership of your own development work. What you'll do Design, develop, test, and maintain Ruby on Rails applications Write clean, maintainable, and well-structured code Contribute to technical discussions and solution design Work collaboratively with senior developers, product managers, and cross‑functional teams Participate in code reviews and contribute to improving engineering standards Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues Help identify opportunities to improve system performance, reliability, and user experience Contribute to Agile development practices including planning, stand‑ups, and retrospectives Continue developing your technical skills through mentoring and hands‑on experience What you'll bring We are looking for someone with: 2–5 years’ commercial software development experience Some hands‑on Ruby on Rails development experience Strong understanding of object‑oriented programming principles Experience working with relational databases, ideally PostgreSQL Understanding of software development lifecycle practices Experience building and maintaining web applications Ability to troubleshoot problems and identify solutions Strong attention to code quality and engineering practices A growth mindset and willingness to learn new technologies Experience with any of the following would be advantageous: Cloud platforms such as AWS or Azure Automated testing frameworks CI/CD pipelines Modern JavaScript frameworks AI‑assisted development tools such as GitHub Copilot, Claude, or similar technologies Why join?
