Drainage/Plumbing Labourer

Tradestaff is seeking reliable and hardworking Plumbing Labourers to join our team in Wellington . This is a great opportunity for someone with plumbing labouring experience to work alongside skilled tradespeople, with competitive pay and weekly wages. Location: Wellington Start date: Available immediately Pay rate: $30–$35 per hour (weekly pay) About the Role As a Plumbing Labourer, you will provide skilled labouring support to New Zealand Licensed & Registered Plumbers on a variety of plumbing projects. All work must be completed under the strict supervision of a qualified plumber, assisting with site preparation, installations and general labouring tasks. Duties include: Provide labouring support to NZ Licensed & Registered Plumbers Use power tools including drills, grinders and saws Drill and cut openings ready for plumbing installations Prepare work areas and remove building materials to allow access Dig trenches and holes for access and installation work Replace building materials once installation work is complete Install brackets, bracing and insulation for pipework Assist with two-person and team installations Assist with deliveries and organise materials on-site Work on ladders and at heights, including scissor lifts Complete additional supervised duties as required by the client What We're Looking For Previous plumbing labouring experience Ability to work safely under the direction of NZ Licensed & Registered Plumbers Comfortable using hand and power tools Reliable, physically fit and able to work in a team environment Strong commitment to workplace health and safety What's in it for you?
