Room Attendant - Part Time (Please note that you must already have work rights in New Zealand to be considered for this role) Cordis, Auckland is looking for a dedicated and detail-focused part time Room Attendant to join our Housekeeping team. In this role, you will help create a clean, comfortable and welcoming experience for our guests by ensuring rooms and assigned areas are presented to Cordis, Auckland standards. This role is ideal for someone who takes pride in their work, enjoys being part of a busy team, and has strong attention to detail. About The Role In this role, you will be responsible for: Cleaning guest rooms and assigned areas within the required timeframe Ensuring rooms are presented to a high standard and ready for guest arrivals Restocking and maintaining your trolley and supplies after use Using the correct cleaning products and following hotel procedures Communicating effectively with the Housekeeping Office, Supervisors, Room Attendants and other hotel departments Responding to guest queries in a courteous, helpful and professional manner Supporting public areas or other areas of the hotel when required Following health, safety and hygiene procedures at all times Handling cleaning chemicals safely and correctly, in line with hotel procedures and product guidelines Contributing to the hotel’s sustainability practices, including correct waste separation and responsible use of resources About You We are looking for someone who: Previous housekeeping experience, preferably within a hotel or similar accommodation environment Has strong attention to detail and takes pride in their work Is committed to delivering high standards of cleanliness and presentation Is friendly, helpful and professional when interacting with guests and colleagues Has good communication skills in spoken and written English Can work well both independently and as part of a big team Is organised, reliable and able to manage time effectively Shows initiative and a positive attitude in a busy environment Is flexible with rostered days, shifts and hours, with Friday, Saturday and Sunday availability essential.
