About the role As a Client Partnership Manager reporting to the Client Partnership Lead - South Island, you’ll be responsible for executing sales activities and managing a portfolio of valued corporate clients. Based full-time in our Christchurch office, the role involves working closely with both clients and internal teams to deliver exceptional service and drive business growth. You’ll play a key role in strengthening client relationships and contributing to our sales targets in line with company growth strategies. Some after-hours work is required for customer hosting and industry events. What you’ll be doing Proactively manage and develop relationships with a portfolio of corporate clients Understand client needs to negotiate and manage client contracts and agreements Identify and capitalise on opportunities to expand existing client accounts Participate and lead in client meetings, presentations and events to strengthen relationships, including some hosting and attending hotel updates outside of standard hours Prepare monthly and quarterly reports using Power BI. Analyse travel trends and client data to provide actionable insights and support contract negotiations and extensions. Build strong rapport across all levels, from the executive leadership team, to travelers, self-manage your portfolio effectively, and provide tailored payment solutions by leveraging your tech-savvy approach. What we’re looking for Previous experience in the travel industry (ideally corporate travel) to ensure you’ve got a good understanding of airfares, technology and travel product knowledge. A strong background in client partnership management with well-developed negotiation and presentation skills Excellent interpersonal and communication skills to build strong relationships with clients Strong negotiation and problem-solving abilities to handle client requests effectively Ability to prioritise and manage a varied and substantial workload with follow-up accuracy and a high level of attention to detail.
