As an Occupational Therapist, you'll work in partnership with Disabled Partners, whānau, and Team Members delivering innovative, person-directed support that empowers people to achieve what matters most to them The candidate we are seeking will be able to: Partner with Disabled Partners and their whānau to understand goals, aspirations and support needs. Complete assessments and develop practical, strengths-based recommendations. Support people to build independence, participation and confidence in everyday activities. Recommend equipment, environmental modifications and strategies that enable better outcomes. Work collaboratively with support teams, families, funders and community providers. Maintain high-quality documentation, reporting and professional standards. Contribute to a culture of innovation, continuous improvement and person-centered support Oversee the manual handling framework at ConneXu in consultation with our Learning and Development Manager Ko wai koe (About you) You're a registered Occupational Therapist who is passionate about enabling people to achieve what matters most to them. You bring a positive, solutions-focused approach and thrive when working alongside people to overcome barriers and create meaningful outcomes. You're equally comfortable working independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team. To be successful in this role, you'll have: Registration with the Occupational Therapy Board of New Zealand and a current APC. Experience working with disabled people, community rehabilitation, health, or related services. Strong assessment, problem-solving and relationship-building skills. A commitment to person-centred practice and the principles of Enabling Good Lives. Excellent communication and report-writing abilities. A current full New Zealand driver's licence.
