Medcall Health Personnel – Auckland, North Island Looking for a flexible clinical role without the demands of traditional general practice? We're recruiting on behalf of a growing specialist telehealth provider seeking an experienced GP to join their ADHD medication management service. This role focuses on supporting adults who have already been diagnosed with ADHD and commenced treatment. Rather than conducting assessments, you'll provide follow-up care, review treatment response, adjust medications where appropriate, and manage prescription renewals through a structured and efficient telehealth model. Fully remote working arrangement Flexible sessions and work-life balance Established patient demand Streamlined systems and clinical processes Supportive multidisciplinary team environment Opportunity to focus on high-quality patient care Contractor or permanent engagement options available The Role Working through scheduled follow-up appointments, you will: Review treatment effectiveness and patient outcomes Monitor side effects and medication adherence Adjust ADHD medications within established clinical protocols Manage Special Authority requirements where required Issue and renew prescriptions electronicallyMaintain accurate and compliant clinical documentation Collaborate with the wider clinical and patient care teams About You To be considered, you will have: Current registration with the Medical Council of New Zealand Vocational registration in General Practice (FRNZCGP or equivalent recognised scope) Minimum three years' experience as a GP Confidence prescribing and managing medications within NZ regulatory requirements Excellent communication and patient engagement skills Ability to work independently within a telehealth environment Experience in ADHD treatment, stimulant prescribing, Special Authority applications, telehealth, or urgent care settings would be advantageous but is not essential. Also Recruiting: Lead Psychiatrist (Part-Time) We're also seeking a highly experienced Lead Psychiatrist to provide clinical oversight, clinician support, and assessment sign-off within a growing ADHD telehealth service. This leadership role offers the opportunity to shape clinical standards, mentor GPs and Nurse Practitioners, support complex cases, and contribute to the ongoing development of ADHD services across New Zealand. The position is remote, part-time, and suited to a Psychiatrist with significant ADHD experience and current NZ vocational registration. Key Highlights Remote leadership role with flexible contractor arrangements. Provide supervision and support to GPs and Nurse Practitioners. Review ADHD assessments, manage escalations, and help shape clinical quality and training. GP Titrator (120+gst p/hour) Important Applicants must be currently eligible to practise independently in New Zealand and hold current MCNZ registration.
