This is a permanent, full-time position with opportunities to develop into a leadership role for the right person. We're proud of our quality, innovation, and the team culture we've built. We're looking for an experienced Assembly Technician to join our production team. This is a permanent, full-time position with opportunities to develop into a leadership role for the right person. About the Role Working closely with the Factory Foreman and Production Manager, you'll be responsible for assembling our products once they've been fabricated and painted, ensuring every machine leaves the factory built to the highest standard. No two days are the same. You'll work across a wide range of agricultural equipment using modern assembly bays that are fully equipped with: Overhead lifting gantries Retractable air and power leads Shadow boards with all required tools Product positioning jigs and rotators Convenient access to our parts and inventory area Your Day May Include Mechanical assembly of agricultural machinery Building and fitting hydraulic hoses Installing hydraulic valves, motors, cylinders (rams) and fittings Fitting gearboxes, bearings, chains, pulleys and PTO drivelines Basic electrical installation and wiring Riveting, bolting and general mechanical fitting Applying decals and finishing touches Testing completed machines Carrying out quality inspections to ensure every product meets Landquip's standards Working closely with the wider production team to keep work flowing efficiently We're Looking For Someone Who Has 1. A Great Attitude You're reliable, motivated, take pride in your work, and enjoy being part of a team. 2. Production Assembly Experience Experience in mechanical assembly, agricultural machinery, manufacturing, automotive, heavy equipment or similar industries will be highly regarded. 3. Leadership Potential You're confident organising work, helping others and stepping up when needed. Previous experience leading a small team is an advantage, or you're ready to take that next step in your career.
