Field Technician - MTC

Mobile Test 'n' Cal (MTC) is NZ's most client focused, compliance company offering onsite testing, calibration and inspection services. MTC, a Trescal company, is based in Auckland, but services all of New Zealand. We are supported by CPS, CalCon & ACS , who specialise in calibration and have some of the most technically advanced calibration facility in their disciplines. The group has three offices around New Zealand and all work together to provide the best service we can to our clients. The Trescal NZ group has a wonderful team who work well together and help each other out when needed. Our point of difference is our staff and we value them. MTC has a full time position available. The role include visiting clients nationwide, providing an array of services to our varied and valued client base. Fully, inhouse training is provided. Applicants ideally based in Auckland. Responsibilities include: Testing of insulated safety equipment Instrument verification - electrical, pressure, torque, temperature Inspection of height safety and lifting equipment Travelling to job sites, setting up working area and performing tasks as required Completing site safety assessments Experience required: Basic electrical knowledge Ability to work by yourself Have good initiative and the ability to problem solve Attention to detail and a great work ethic Full drivers licence required Extended countrywide travel will be required for this role, and some training may be provided in Australia.
