Bayleys Property Management Mid-Canterbury Bayleys Property Management Canterbury are recruiting a Tenancy Manager to assist in the day-to-day management of a residential property portfolio based in Ashburton and surrounding areas, working closely alongside an experienced Property Manager. About the Role As a Tenancy Manager, you will play a key role in supporting the effective management of residential tenancies, ensuring tenants and landlords receive consistent, high-quality service while maintaining full legislative compliance. Assisting with the day-to-day management of a residential property portfolio Tenant liaison and relationship management Rent collection and arrears management Routine inspections and follow-up actions Thorough entry inspections and condition reports Coordinating maintenance and repairs Preparing and managing tenancy documentation and notices Supporting compliance with the Residential Tenancies Act and related legislation About You We are looking for someone who demonstrates: Excellent communication and interpersonal skills Strong organisation and time-management abilities High attention to detail and accuracy A calm, professional approach to conflict and problem-solving Integrity, accountability, and a strong work ethic The ability to work independently while being a supportive team member Ability to relate to all walks of life Previous experience in property management may be an advantage, but we are looking for candidates with strong transferable skills and a genuine willingness to learn.
