Oncore Christchurch – Christchurch, South Island Oncore Christchurch is looking for a reliable, well-presented contractor to complete residential exterior cleaning jobs across Christchurch. This is flexible, job-based work for someone who enjoys working independently, takes pride in doing things properly and wants the opportunity to increase their earnings as they learn additional services. What we offer Booked residential jobs supplied to you A simple fixed-rate card based on property size and job scope Rates designed to average approximately $35 per hour for an efficient contractor Specialist training, cleaning equipment and products supplied Branded cap or shirt supplied Additional earning opportunities through upsells, referrals and commission Scope to learn gutter cleaning, house washing, limescale removal and other exterior services Mostly weekday work between 9am and 5pm Jobs grouped geographically wherever practical Usually around 48 hours’ notice The work The role will initially focus on exterior window cleaning using a professional water-fed pole system. You may also complete interior window cleaning and other straightforward property-service tasks as required. Once trained and competent, there will be opportunities to take on a wider range of exterior cleaning and maintenance work. You will be responsible for: Arriving at accepted jobs on time Communicating politely and confidently with customers Completing work to a consistently high standard Using ladders and equipment safely Taking job photos and completing simple job records Caring for and properly storing the supplied equipment Identifying useful additional work while onsite without using high-pressure sales tactics How the contractor arrangement works Current workload is typically around 12–22 jobs per week, although work volume is variable and not guaranteed. You remain free to accept or decline work. However, once you accept a job, we and the customer must be able to rely on you completely. Payment is based on a clear job-rate card, with rates varying according to property size and scope. Normal vehicle and fuel expenses are included in these rates. As an independent contractor, you will be responsible for your own tax, ACC and other contractor obligations. What you’ll need A full, clean New Zealand driver licence A reliable vehicle capable of transporting equipment; a ute or van is preferred Availability for flexible weekday work between 9am and 5pm A smartphone and confidence using a simple job-management app Clear spoken and written English for customer communication and job notes Good practical ability and attention to detail The physical capability to work outdoors, carry equipment and safely use ladders The legal right to work in New Zealand Reliable references Willingness to complete a police check Exterior-cleaning experience is helpful but not essential. Full training will be provided. Reliability, presentation, customer service and pride in your work are more important.
