The opportunity: We’re looking for Structural Drafters/Digital Modellers to work on interesting and challenging infrastructure projects (bridges, tanks, wharves) throughout the country, based in Wellington. Lead and develop junior infrastructure drafters Influence design and make a strategic contribution. We are always pursuing new and better ways to deliver drafting and modelling outcomes, including exploring and applying new technology. Contribute to a variety of challenging and interesting high-profile infrastructure projects alongside some of the best in the business. What we’re looking for: You’ll be passionate about your craft with a genuine interest in bridge and civil structures and design, reflected in your broad structural drafting experience. Technical knowledge of structures and understanding of, engineering and construction design principles, including the NZ Building code. Revit skills, 3D Digital Modelling and experience with Family creation, Dynamo and SOFiSTiK would also be beneficial. Demonstrate an eagerness to work closely with skilled senior drafters and senior engineers to hone your modelling skills. An understanding of BIM systems, principles and workflows. A technical advancement mindset, ideally with experience in creating digital solutions that bridge the gap between traditional drafting and modern computational design. You’ll have relevant experience working on a broad range of projects and be comfortable managing your own workload alongside engineers to create the best solution. Passion for digital innovation and emerging technologies in the engineering industry. Proactive approach and commitment to producing high-quality work, along with being a stickler for detail. Proactive and self-driven with a continuous improvement focus. Team player – works well within a project team to deliver successful outcomes within project programme requirements.
