Occupational Health Nurse

Proactive Occupational Health – Auckland, North Island About the role We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Occupational Health Nurse to join our team at Proactive Occupational Health. As an Occupational Health Nurse, you will play a crucial role in promoting the health, safety, and well-being of our clients' employees. This is a full-time position based in our Auckland clinic. This role requires you to travel to client sites within the wider Auckland region and will require some afternoon or evening hours and occasional Saturday. What you'll be doing Conducting comprehensive health assessments and screenings to identify and address health and safety concerns Providing and ongoing medical support to employees Collaborating with employers to ensure compliance with relevant health and safety regulations Maintaining accurate medical records and documentation Providing continuing education to employees on exercise, lifestyle and nutrition Collaborating with health professionals and providing return to work support to employees What we're looking for Registered Nurse with a valid practicing certificate/ability to work in NZ Minimum of 3 years' experience in occupational health, community nursing, or a related field Current vaccinator's certificate Strong clinical skills and knowledge of occupational health and safety regulations Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport with employees Proficient in using relevant medical software and technology Passion for improving the health and well-being of the local community Current NZ Drivers Licence What we offer In addition to a competitive salary, we offer a range of benefits, including: Ongoing professional development and training opportunities Discounted healthcare services and products for employees Collaborative team environment with opportunities for growth Employee assistance program for mental health and wellbeing support About us Proactive Occupational Health is a leading provider of comprehensive occupational health services throughout New Zealand.
