About the Role This is a permanent, full-time role in our Christchurch Distribution Centre, working the afternoon shift. It's well suited to an experienced warehouse hand who enjoys a steady routine, takes ownership of their work, and is comfortable keeping things running smoothly with minimal supervision later in the day. Hours: Monday – Thursday 2pm -11.30pm, Friday 2pm -6.30pm (40 paid hours a week). What you’ll do: Pick, pack, and dispatch customer orders Receive, check, and put away incoming stock Maintain inventory accuracy through stocktakes and cycle counts Operate forklifts and gantry cranes Keep the warehouse clean, organised, and safe Support general warehouse duties as required Requirements Solid, hands-on warehouse, stores, or dispatch experience A reliable, dependable approach and a strong work ethic The ability to work independently, organise your time, and take initiative A genuine health and safety mindset – you look out for yourself and your team Confidence with manual handling and physically active work Forklift experience and licence (preferred) Gantry or overhead crane experience (preferred) Metals or steel industry background (an advantage) Permanent role with guaranteed hours and weekly wages Supportive team and great workplace culture Health and wellness programme Flat structure and approachable leaders Enhanced parental leave Long-term stability with a growing, market-leading business Please note that you must be currently residing in New Zealand or have a valid work visa to be considered for this position.
