About the Role We're looking for a Junior Solutions Engineer to join our supportive, collaborative team. You'll resolve Level 1 and Level 2 support tickets - familiar problems with known solutions or set troubleshooting processes - while building your skills toward working autonomously on client sites. You won't be thrown in the deep end: for your first three months, you'll work alongside a senior engineer as you learn Minitech's processes and are introduced to our clients. What You'll Be Doing Responding to and resolving Level 1 and Level 2 support tickets Providing remote and on-site technical support to clients across Wellington Engaging with clients to understand their pain points, business processes, and technology needs Looking for opportunities to upskill clients in every interaction - one-on-one training is part of how we work Collaborating with the team to improve existing apps, develop new solutions, and streamline client services Joining weekly Minitech Day - a full team day for workload planning, troubleshooting tricky tickets, project collaboration, and technical training What You'll Bring A genuine passion for technology and helping people Strong communication skills and a client-first mindset A relevant IT qualification and/or some hands-on support experience (helpdesk, service desk, or similar) Curiosity, initiative, and the drive to work toward autonomy A full NZ driver's licence for on-site client visits What We Offer Structured onboarding working directly alongside experienced Solutions Engineers and Architects Exposure to a wide variety of technologies, clients, and business environments Flexible working with a predominantly work-from-home setup (40 hours, Monday-Friday, between 8am-5pm) Weekly in-person collaboration, training, and development through Minitech Day A supportive team culture focused on innovation and continuous improvement Ready to grow your career with a team that's genuinely invested in your development?
