Use Your Payroll Expertise to Support the People Who Support Others Are you an experienced payroll professional who takes pride in accuracy, confidentiality, and helping things run smoothly for others? At tlc4u2, payroll is more than processing numbers. It is about making sure our people are paid accurately, on time, and with care. We are looking for a detail-oriented Payroll Administrator to join our Whangārei based team in a full-time role focused on payroll processing, compliance, and accurate record-keeping. Working closely with our Senior Payroll Administrator, you will support end-to-end payroll, manage leave records, respond to payroll queries, and help maintain compliance with New Zealand payroll legislation. During quieter payroll periods, you will also assist with HR administration tasks such as compliance tracking, reporting and other basic HR administrative tasks. This role is well suited to someone who enjoys structure, accuracy, problem-solving, and being part of a values-driven team where their work makes a real difference. As Payroll Administrator, you will play a key role in supporting a positive employee experience through accurate, timely, and reliable payroll administration. What You’ll Do | Ngā Mahi Payroll responsibilities will include: Supporting end-to-end payroll processing Processing leave requests and maintaining accurate leave records Maintaining payroll records and ensuring employee data is accurate Investigating and resolving payroll queries in a timely and professional manner Supporting compliance with the Holidays Act and New Zealand payroll legislation Providing payroll cover during leave periods Assisting with payroll reporting and record-keeping as required HR administrative support may include: Assisting with onboarding and offboarding processes Assisting with HR reporting and compliance requirements Providing general HR administrative support to the team as needed About You | Ko Wai Koe You will be someone who: Has proven payroll administration experience Understands the importance of accuracy, confidentiality, and compliance Is highly organised and able to manage multiple priorities Has strong attention to detail and numerical accuracy Communicates clearly and professionally Is discreet, reliable, and team-focused Enjoys supporting others and contributing to a positive employee experience You will also need: Strong knowledge of New Zealand payroll legislation and the Holidays Act The ability to work accurately with employee information and payroll data Professional judgement and a high level of discretion HR administration experience (training can be provided) Understanding of New Zealand employment legislation Experience using Crystal Payroll When you join tlc4u2, you will be supported with: A supportive and collaborative team environment Ongoing training and development opportunities A positive workplace culture with a strong values focus The opportunity to work closely with experienced payroll and HR professionals A varied and meaningful role where your contribution matters The chance to support a team that provides important community-based care services across Northland and Auckland About tlc4u2 tlc4u2 Ltd is a trusted provider of community-based support services throughout Northland, Auckland and Waikato.
