About the role The Tendering and Stores Coordinator plays a key role in supporting the successful delivery of electrical infrastructure projects by coordinating tender processes, procurement activities and specialist stores management. Sitting within the Contracts Performance Team, this position works closely with project managers, engineering teams, contractors and suppliers to ensure projects are awarded efficiently and that the right materials are available when needed. It is a highly organised, relationship-focused role that combines project coordination, contract administration and procurement in a fast-paced environment. Duties Coordinating the end-to-end tender process for network projects. Managing contractor tender documentation and supporting tender evaluations. Procuring specialist electrical equipment and materials from local and international suppliers. Coordinating stores and inventory to ensure timely availability for projects. Building strong working relationships with project managers, engineering teams, contractors and suppliers. Maintaining accurate procurement, contract and project records and documentation. Supporting project delivery by coordinating multiple priorities, stakeholders and timelines. Skills and experience Experience in tendering, procurement, contract administration or project coordination. Background in utilities, infrastructure, construction, manufacturing or a similar technical industry. Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities. Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills. Proficient in Microsoft 365, particularly Excel; Power BI is an advantage. A proactive, detail-oriented approach with the ability to work independently. Experience supporting project delivery and coordinating suppliers or contractors is highly desirable.
