Position Purpose The Career Pathways Manager provides strategic and operational leadership across Lifeskills' Ōtautahi Career Pathways portfolio. The role is responsible for leading high-performing teams that deliver sustainable employment, education and financial wellbeing outcomes while ensuring all contractual obligations are achieved. The Career Pathways Manager drives continuous improvement, develops strong employer and community partnerships, coaches staff to achieve outstanding outcomes and identifies opportunities for future service growth. The position is accountable for the successful delivery of: Community Job Coaching To inspire, develop and lead a high-performing team that creates life-changing opportunities for participants while strengthening communities through meaningful employment pathways. Key Responsibilities & What You'll Bring Lead, coach and develop a high-performing Career Pathways team, fostering a positive and accountable culture. Recruit, induct, mentor and support staff through regular coaching and performance development. Drive contract performance by achieving KPIs, delivering quality participant outcomes and ensuring accurate reporting. Build and maintain strong relationships with employers, MSD and community partners to create employment opportunities. Oversee operational performance, including caseload allocation, compliance, systems and continuous improvement. Identify business development opportunities and contribute to service growth, innovation and funding initiatives. Hold a current full New Zealand driver's licence. Successfully pass a New Zealand Police Vetting check and meet all pre-employment requirements.
