We are seeking a qualified and registered early childhood teacher who is passionate about providing high-quality education and care for young children. We are looking for an enthusiastic, reflective, and collaborative kaiako who values meaningful relationships with tamariki, whānau, and colleagues. You will: hold a recognised Early Childhood Education teaching qualification. have Provisional or Full New Zealand Teaching Council registration with a current practising certificate. be passionate about providing high-quality care and education for all tamariki. embrace child-led learning and respond thoughtfully to children's interests. demonstrate a strong understanding of Te Whāriki and contemporary early childhood practice. build respectful, responsive, and trusting relationships with children, whānau, and colleagues. be a collaborative team player who contributes positively to a supportive teaching environment. create inclusive learning environments where every child feels a sense of belonging and can thrive. demonstrate excellent communication, reflective practice, and a commitment to ongoing professional learning. Key responsibilities Plan, implement, and evaluate engaging learning experiences aligned with Te Whāriki. Support children's learning, development, and wellbeing. Create and maintain a safe, nurturing, and inclusive learning environment. Build respectful and responsive partnerships with children, whānau, and the teaching team. Uphold the professional standards of the Teaching Council and the philosophy and values of our centre. Actively contribute to a culture of continuous improvement and reflective practice.
