Job Description

We are looking for an experienced qualified Electrician to work on residential projects across Auckland. The ideal candidate will be responsible for ensuring the safe and efficient installation, maintenance, and repair of electrical systems in residential properties. Diagnose and repair electrical problems in wiring, house hold appliances and other fixtures. Collaborate with project managers and contractors to ensure timely and accurate completion of projects. Perform routine maintenance on electrical systems and equipment to ensure longevity and prevent breakdowns. Collaborate with other tradespeople and contractors on job sites to ensure seamless project coordination. Keep abreast of industry trends, technologies, and advancements to enhance skills and knowledge. What you'll need: Possess a valid electrical license issued by the Electrical Workers Registration Board (EWRB) of New Zealand. Proven experience as an electrician with a minimum of 3-5 years in the field, demonstrating a solid understanding of electrical systems and practices. In-depth knowledge of New Zealand regulations and safety standards. Proficient in installing, maintaining, and troubleshooting electrical systems and components. Effective communication skills, both verbal and written, to interact with clients, team members, and project stakeholders. Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently to analyze and resolve electrical issues. Ability to perform tasks that require physical strength and agility. Commitment to maintaining a safe working environment and ensuring compliance with health and safety regulations.
