Class 5 Truck Driver

Must all other requirements including English language requirements as per Immigration New Zealand if required. Multilinguistic people will be given preference. Must be ready to travel and have full Class 5 Driver’s License with relevant driving endorsements. Heavy lifting could be a part of the job. Must be physically fit, pre-employment medical and drug test will be a part of recruitment. Flexible with rostered working hours and should be able to work over the weekends. Our Company is a Transport Trader. We are currently looking for a hardworking Class 5 Truck Driver, who are willing to working in a challenging environment with driving experience. The experience in the related field is appreciated. Must be able to manoeuvr vehicles into position for loading and unloading. Late night driving may be required to facilitate the clients and deliveries loading and unloading vehicles using lifting and tipping devices. Must be able to handle the freighteffectively, timely and safely. Participate in all safety procedure. Maintain, clean and tidy vehicles. Taking care of safety measures while loading and unloading vehicles. Regularly check quality of vehicles to ensure they can be driven safely. Must be able to estimate the weight to comply with load limitations and ensuring safe distribution ofweight in the vehicle. Ensuring goods are stowed and securely covered to prevent loss and damage Must be able to verify loading documents, checking condition of goods and obtaining certification of deliveries. Must have theability to reverse vehicles confidently in tight spaces and provide a friendly and professional serviceupon delivery.
