We are currently looking for an experienced, highly motivated, and hardworking Mechanical Engineering Draftsperson to join our 3D Solidworks design team who has the following: Minimum Level 2 NZQF qualifications or at least 3 years of relevant work experience in Mechanical Engineering. Ability to prepare and understand complex 2D & 3D technical drawings. Understanding of estimating material costs and quantities A strong work ethic and can manage customer enquiries with a strong resolution focus. Adaptable , open to change and new learning. Good communication skills has a well-spoken manner, able to build rapport with customers and effective listening skills. 100% commitment to Health and Safety is a must. Resilient nature and can maintain a high level of service while working under time constraints. High attention to detail and keeps up to date with processes, procedure, and products to ensure accurate information. Results motivated and knows how best to organise their day to get the jobs ready to go out the door. Is responsible and can work independently but is also able to collaborate effectively with the team. NZ citizen/ permanent resident or have valid work visa. This role is for full time employment and based on a 45hr week minimum 8.00am-5.30pm Mon-Fri. Reliability and good attendance is a must .
