About the Role This Senior Project Manager role will initially focus on the procurement and pre-delivery phases of a major digital transformation programme. Partnering closely with the Programme Manager and Procurement Specialist, you'll drive RFP development, market engagement, vendor evaluation, contract negotiations, and discovery activities. Following vendor selection, you'll transition into leading one or more strategic workstreams, ensuring successful delivery of business outcomes, stakeholder engagement, and governance requirements. Day to Day Responsibilities Lead procurement activities including RFP development, market engagement and vendor evaluation Coordinate discovery planning, workshops and preferred vendor selection processes Manage project plans, risks, budgets, dependencies and delivery milestones Engage senior stakeholders, vendors and technical teams to drive programme outcomes Prepare governance reporting, delivery updates and project documentation About Your Experience We're looking for an experienced Senior Project Manager with a strong background in technology procurement, vendor management, and early-stage project delivery within large and complex environments. Proven experience leading ICT procurement and RFP processes Strong vendor management, commercial and contract negotiation skills Experience managing discovery phases and project mobilisation activities Excellent stakeholder engagement and executive communication capabilities Background delivering large-scale digital transformation or technology programmes Please note, we can only consider applicants that are legally entitled to work in New Zealand at the time of application.
