Maintenance Electrician Day Shift

Day Shift: Monday – Friday: 7.00am – 3.30pm Oji Fibre Solutions is one of New Zealand's leadingmanufacturers and suppliers of packaging solutions to a wide range ofindustries throughout the country. Our customers includeblue chipmanufacturers and marketers of packaging products to the food, primary produce,industrial and grocery sectors. We have an opportunity available for a qualified Maintenance Electrician (dualmechanical trade advantageous or mechanically minded) with proven industrialelectrical and automation experience to join our Day Shift. Reportingto the Engineering Manager, this role is based in our busy manufacturing plant;in Mangere Bridge, Auckland. Extensiveexperience is a must. You will work alongside our production team, with a focuson scheduled preventative maintenance, breakdowns and project work you will bekept busy, while ensuring timely repairs to our plant and equipment, to keepproduction downtime to a minimum. Therole is responsible for working as an electrician as well as supporting the overallmanagement of equipment used to monitor, safeguard and control systems andmachinery. More specifically this will include PLC, HMI, speed control, andother such programmable hardware, including those used in safety-related tasks,along with both development tools and application software. In addition, a flexibleattitude towards working overtime during the peak season or when required. In order to succeed in this role, you must be: A Registered New Zealand Industrial Electrician 5+ years proven Industrial experience Advanced trade certificate preferred.
