Mechanic

Graeme Bagrie Contracts Ltd is a family owned and operated company with over 30 years of experience in the civil roading and earthmoving industry. We are currently looking for an Automotive/Diesel Mechanic to assist our workshop team. We run a large fleet of modern well-kept vehicles, trucks, and machinery serviced by a fully equipped workshop. Ideally you would have experience working on large civil machinery as we run a fleet which includes tipper trucks and trailers, tractors, excavators ranging from 5 to 50-ton, 30–40-ton dump trucks, bulldozers, and other earthmoving equipment. You would be responsible to the Operations Manager. Responsibilities: Perform routine maintenance tasks on diesel engines and heavy equipment. Diagnose and troubleshoot mechanical issues. Repair or replace faulty parts, components, or systems. Conduct inspections to identify potential problems. Ensure all repairs meet quality standards and manufacturer specifications. Keep accurate records of repairs performed. Collaborate with other mechanics and operators to resolve issues efficiently.
