About the Role The Radiology Department at Waipapa Hospital are on thelookout for efficient and flexible Radiographic Assistants to join our kapa(team).This is a varied role for someone with a passion for patient care and who islooking to develop their career in healthcare. You will be working at Waipapa ED department, this is avaried position which could see supporting multiple modalities on night shift2300-0730am Monday - Sunday. We are seeking candidates that can work permanentpart-time and also can pick up additional shifts to cover sick, annual leaveand unplanned leave.This role is ever evolving and will be sure to keep youthinking. Salary' Starting from $75353.00-$90,665 pro rataBased onthe PSA Allied, Public Health and Technical collective agreement In this role, you will be responsible for: Interacting with patients in person and handling enquires over the phone Inputting patient details Organising inpatient appointments Assisting with patients Supporting the MRT's or Sonographers and Registrars Available shifts 24 hours per week 2300-0.730 (3 days aweek permanent night shift) 16 hours per week 2300-0.730 (2 days a weekpermanent night shift) 16 hours per week 2300-0.730 (2 days a weekpermanent night shift) About You Excellent communication skills as well as great attention to detail and organisational skills A natural team player, with the ability to see the bigger picture The ability to work co-operatively in a large and busy environment Knowledge of the Health Sector Experience in customer service is essential Confidence using computer systems is desirable No radiology experience or qualification are required forthe position however a passion for the field of Radiology and commitment topatient care is essential.
