You'll lead TTM assurance activity, build capability across the business, and partner with teams to lift consistency and performance, helping us deliver safer roads and stronger operational outcomes. Mō te tūranga | About the role This is a technical leadership role focused on strengthening how we assure, improve and embed Temporary Traffic Management across the region. You'll take the lead on frameworks, systems and practical standards that support quality delivery and keep us ready for changing industry requirements, while working across the business to turn technical insight into action, support continuous improvement, and help create a more consistent approach to TTM. Ngā kawenga matua | Key responsibilities Lead and continuously improve a regional TTM assurance model that supports safe, reliable and compliant delivery. Develop assurance frameworks, monitoring, reviews and reporting that give the business confidence in its systems and practices. Identify capability gaps and build practical tools, guidance and standard ways of working to lift TTM performance. Partner with regional teams, leaders and field crews to support coaching, learning and continuous improvement across TTM. Help prepare the business for current and future TTM requirements, including the shift to risk-based TTM. Kei te kimi mātou i tētahi e whai ana i ēnei pūkenga | We're looking for someone with Strong experience in TTM, assurance, HSQES, operational improvement or a closely related field. NZ Certificate in Adult and Tertiary Teaching Level 4 or 5 (NZQA qualification #2746). Workplace Assessor qualification, using standards to assess candidate performance (NZQA #4098). The ability to build capability through coaching, frameworks, tools, standardisation and practical support. Strong relationship-building skills and the confidence to work with people at every level, from field crews to senior leaders.
