HR Manager

We're looking for an experienced HR Manager to join our senior leadership team and support the business across a diverse national workforce. About the Role Reporting directly to the Managing Director, you will be responsible for leading and managing the people and culture function across the business, partnering with leaders to build capability, strengthen organisational culture and ensure best practice people management. You'll provide expert advice across all aspects of the employee lifecycle while driving initiatives that support business growth, employee engagement and operational excellence. Your responsibilities will include: Leading employment relations, investigations, disciplinary processes and performance management. Managing end-to-end recruitment, onboarding and workforce planning. Coaching and supporting managers to build leadership capability. Provide practical advice and support for managers across the group, ensuring compliance with New Zealand employment legislation and HR best practice. Overseeing HR systems, policies, reporting and employment documentation. Leading continuous improvement across People & Culture processes. Providing strategic HR advice to the Managing Director and Leadership Team. About You You are an experienced HR professional who enjoys building trusted relationships and influencing positive business outcomes. You bring a practical, solutions-focused approach and are confident working across both strategic and operational HR matters. To be successful you'll have: A tertiary qualification in Human Resources, Employment Relations or a related discipline. Significant experience in a senior HR or People & Culture leadership role. Strong knowledge of New Zealand employment legislation. Extensive experience managing employment relations matters. Proven ability to coach and influence leaders. Excellent communication and relationship-building skills. Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities. A collaborative leadership style with high levels of integrity and professionalism.
