Job Description

We're seeking an experienced, practice-driven Practice Leader to join our team. You'll be creating high-quality learning content and curricula for mātua atawhai, tamariki and staff, working alongside our Lead Advisor, Learning & Development and Production team. Our current mahi includes designing engaging online and in-person learning experiences that draw on best-practice models, clinical supervision and leadership expertise from social and youth work. We have relationships with mokopuna and whānau, hapū, hāpori and across agencies that are critical to success in this space. Your role will be to bring deep practice expertise into rich, mana-enhancing learning content. Developing curricula and content for mātua atawhai, tamariki and staff learning experiences Delivering in-person learning and monitoring learner progress This is a full time, fixed term role to 30 June 2027 , based in Tāmaki Makaurau/Auckland or Te Tai Tokerau/Northland, with travel to Kaikohe required. You're passionate about kaupapa-led mahi and bring deep practice expertise in social or youth work. You hold a relevant Social Work qualification, ideally with experience in clinical supervision and practice leadership, and are willing to undergo police vetting. You're a confident content creator who can translate practice expertise into engaging, high-quality learning experiences. You feel comfortable collaborating closely with colleagues across learning design, digital and production disciplines. We have a high trust working environment and are seeking someone who will fit into our team of hard working, kaupapa driven, dedicated individuals. You'll be based in Tāmaki Makaurau/Auckland or Te Tai Tokerau/Northland, with travel to our Kaikohe office required from time to time. You'll also be part of an organisation that has over 30 years’ experience of providing social services across the rohe. Ngāpuhi Iwi Social Services provides a range of support and services including youth services, family harm support, care and mātua atawhai services and more.
