About the Role: We are seeking a dynamic Appointment Coordinator to join our busy, multi-disciplinary Gastroenterology team at Middlemore Hospital. This is a fixed-term, full-time position until June 2027, working 40 hours per week, Monday to Friday during business hours. This offers the chance to be at the heart of the patient journey, from managing referrals and wait lists to welcoming patients and coordinating appointments. What Youll Do Accurately log and manage referrals Assist with procedure wait-list coordination Directly negotiate appointment times with patients Greet and support patients as they arrive in the department Be an essential part of a team that impacts lives every day Support the team with the Faecal Immunochemical Test (FIT) rollout About You If youre passionate about helping others and enjoy a fast-paced, team-oriented environment, we want to hear from you! To succeed in this role, youll bring: Excellent communication and administration skills A genuine passion for patient care and customer service A strong team spirit and proactive approach Experience with IPM and Concerto systems is a plus, but dont worry, well provide full training! The salary range is dependent on skills and experience and will be paid in line with the National Administration Collective agreement.
