As one ofour Driver Trainers, you will play a key part in improving safety, performance,and professionalism across the wider Palmerston North and region. You will workdirectly with our drivers providing in-cab assessments, delivering effectivetraining, and helping our people continue to build confidence and skill behindthe wheel. Naturally your role will also focus on determining training requirementsboth current and future, working with managers across the business to developand deliver targeted training. This is anexceptional opportunity for an experienced Driver Trainer who is passionateabout safe driving practices, has a genuine desire to coach and develop others,and enjoys being on the road as much as in the classroom. What willyou be doing Delivering in-cabdriver training and assessments for Classes 2–5 and Forklift Operators Conductingpre-employment, annual, and post-incident driver assessments Coaching drivers to improve safety, efficiency, and professionalism Delivering induction,vehicle familiarisation, and customer-specific training Providing licensing andendorsement training in line with NZTA and MITO standards Maintaining accuratetraining records and completing all required documentation Promoting a strongsafety culture and ensure compliance with company policies Whatyou will bring Full, clean NZ DriverLicence (Class 5) with I Endorsement Current MITO and/orCompetenzAssessor Registration Approved NZTA courseprovider for class 2 through 5 licensing Solid experience in aprofessional driving training role Sound knowledge of NZroad transport regulations and safety standards Strong communicationand coaching skills Proficiency inMicrosoft Office and confident using EROAD or similar systems High attention todetail and a practical, down-to-earth approach Whatwe offer Work in an environmentthat prides itself on keeping our people safe, in site and on the road The opportunity to workwithin a great team and culture Access to PERKS app -offering discounts in 40+ stores Discounted SouthernCross Healthcare Opportunities to extendyour learning knowledge and skills About Us Hall's is afast-growing transport company specializing in refrigerated transport andlogistics.
