We are currently seeking an experienced and passionate Massage Therapy Lecturer to join our founding academic team. The successful candidate will play an important role in programme development, curriculum design, student learning and clinical education as we prepare to deliver Level 5 and Level 6 massage therapy programmes. As part of a small and growing academic team, you will have the opportunity to influence programme development, contribute to curriculum design, and work closely with students in both classroom and clinical environments. About the Role The successful candidate will be responsible for: Delivering engaging theory and practical classes for Level 5 and Level 6 massage programmes. Supervising students during clinical practice and providing professional guidance and feedback. Assessing student performance in accordance with NZQA programme requirements. Supporting curriculum development and continuous programme improvement. Contributing to assessment development, moderation, and academic quality assurance processes. Creating a positive, inclusive, and professional learning environment. Promoting safe, ethical, and evidence-informed clinical practice. What We're Looking For Essential Qualification in Massage Therapy or a closely related health discipline. Strong industry experience in massage therapy. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Passion for education and supporting student success. Ability to work collaboratively within an academic team. Highly Regarded Previous teaching or training experience. Experience supervising students in a clinical environment. Experience with curriculum development or assessment design. Knowledge of NZQA standards and quality assurance processes. Adult teaching qualification (or willingness to obtain one). Why Join Novapath Education?
