About the Role Join our Overhead team in Christchurch and help build, maintain, and restore overhead electrical networks across the Canterbury region. We're looking for experienced Line Mechanics who take pride in quality workmanship and enjoy working as part of a close-knit, safety-focused team. If you're currently based in Australia and looking for a fresh start, relocation support is available for the right candidate. You’ll be involved in: Constructing, maintaining, and upgrading overhead power lines Responding to faults and restoring power during network outages Working safely at heights using specialised equipment Reading and interpreting utility plans and network requirements Supporting a variety of overhead projects across the Canterbury region About You You’ll thrive in this role if you have: Experience in overhead line construction, maintenance, or fault response A strong commitment to safety, quality, and teamwork Experience with distribution networks, EWPs, live line work, or high-voltage systems is an advantage A positive attitude and a willingness to learn and develop What's on Offer Relocation support for the right candidat Standard working hours are 7:30am to 4:00pm, with most work based around the Christchurch area Training, licensing support, and clear progression with pay increases as you advance in grade Health and wellbeing perks including free confidential counselling, annual flu vaccines, mole checks, and biennial mini-medicals Please note: Connetics requires all successful applicants to complete a pre-employment Ministry of Justice check, along with a medical assessment including a drug and alcohol test. #J-18808-Ljbffr
