About The Role We are currently seeking a Fresh Foods Assistant to join our Butchery, Seafood, and Produce team. This unique role is perfect for someone who is enthusiastic about delivering outstanding customer experiences and eager to enhance their retail knowledge and technical skills in a collaborative team environment. Your Responsibilities Will Include Ensuring the store is well-stocked and visually appealing during trading hours, which includes cutting meat, seafood, and produce (full training will be provided). Tailoring the product range, quality, and pricing/promotional mix to suit seasonal trends and the needs of our community. Collaborating with the Department Manager to ensure all key areas are properly managed. Adhering to food safety requirements at all times. Requirements Ability to remain calm under pressure. Strong multitasking skills and the capability to work independently. A readiness to engage in physical work. A desire to learn and grow in the role. A positive, friendly attitude and a can-do spirit.
