Each Tangata will have high risk individual care requirements, and you will support them with all elements of daily living such as Palliative cares, Bowel cares, Dementia, Mental health, Medication. You will provide safe, respectful, and person-centredsupport in people’s homes, being mindful of what matters to them, including their culture, values, beliefs, routines, and boundaries. MōhouAke | About You The skills and experience listed below may be required depending on the specific client needs you are matched to A warm, patient, and genuinely caring approach Hold a Level 3 or Level 4 Health and Wellbeing qualification or have equivalent, relevant experience AD knowledge Experience supporting spinal cord injury and bowel management/manual bowel care Confident and safe with working with hoists Comfortable supporting more complex needs and following care plans Be willing to learn, reflect, and adapt your approach to what matters for each person Have experience in or exposure to caregiving, disability support, aged care, community work, or otherpeople‑facingroles Committed to culturally safe, respectful support for people from all backgrounds Able to drive a disability vehicle The right to work in New Zealand We are hiring for the following hours: Every second weekend: 7:00am - 9:30am and 3:30pm to 9:00pm OurKaiāwhinaSkills Framework training takes place during your first two-four weeks of employment and builds on your current experience to provide care to our valued clients the Access way. We provide year-round training with regular refreshers and new modules to keep your skills up to date.
