Projects Lawyer

A high-performing national firm with a strong reputation in major projects, energy and infrastructure is on the lookout for a junior to intermediate lawyer in their Auckland office. You’d be joining a standout team working on headline deals across New Zealand and further afield – including Asia, the UK, and the Middle East. You'll get involved in renewable energy projects, major infrastructure, and complex commercial work. If you're keen to build serious expertise in the energy and infrastructure space, this is the right seat at the right table. The work is front-end focused – think contract drafting, negotiation, and project delivery advice. There’s variety, complexity, and plenty of client exposure. No court work, but experience in dispute resolution or problem-solving on live projects will be useful. Around 2+ years' experience in commercial contracts, infrastructure, energy, or construction law Strong drafting skills and the ability to think on your feet A calm, practical approach to working with clients and juggling competing priorities The culture is collegiate, down-to-earth, and future-focused – with serious credentials when it comes to sustainability and wellbeing.
