This position will play a pivotal role in providing competent patientcentred and culturallyappropriate carethat addresses individual andwhānau healthneeds. As apromoter of wellness to ourmost vulnerable community members, this roleis an integral part of our team.The role will work within our GP clinicand collaborate with our social service teams who share a collective passionfor our community, their mahi and the organisation. Skillsand experience Registeredwith the Nursing Council of New Zealand as a Registered Nurse and hold currentNursing council of New Zealand practising certificate. Abilityand experience working underpressure, within a low decile community,meeting the health needs of our most vulnerable citizens. Highlyexperienced in remaining calm, able to set clear behavioural boundaries whenpatient frustrations become heightened due to ongoing / chronic ill health. Abilityto communicate in a concise manner, whilst ensuring empathy and understandingis paramount. Demonstratedability to work within a Māori organisation / content and be able to meet thetikanga / kawa requirements. Anunderstanding, acknowledgement and practice that demonstrates pro-equitablehealth outcomes for priority patients. Ahigh standard of professionalism, patience, relationship building,understanding, and work ethic are essential. Outstandingmotivational and communication skills. Anability to contribute positively within a team and work wellautonomously.
